Subscribing- all the ins and outs

The Quarantine Corner.

A blog with fun things to do while you are bored. Or just when you are plain sick of masks, washing your hands every three seconds, and covering your cough or else people stare at you. 

Do you want to receive notifications straight to your inbox for boredom busters, art contests, interviews from people like you, quizzes, and much, much more? 

I have gotten feedback that subscribing has become difficult. Extra verification just so you can get notifications for when we post. 

So I decided that in the meantime of trying to make subscription easier, I could make a how-to post so you can understand it a little better.

So, as simplified as possible, here is how to subscribe to The Quarantine Corner!!

Step 1.

Go to the main blog page to access the subscribe button (thequarantinecorner.blogspot.com). Or, click this link and it will take you straight to the subscription form, where you fill out your email and assure that you are not a robot (see step three next if you choose this step) 

Step 2.

Click on the subscribe button on the top left or on the top of the sidebar and enter your email.

Step 3.

Hit the enter button on your keyboard, or "Get Email Notifications". Once clicked, you will be sent to a FeedBurner page, where there will be a pop-up message.

Step 4.

After you read the message, and then confirm that you are not a robot, hit "Complete Subscription Request" to continue. Once clicked, FeedBurner will tell you to check your inbox for a verification email for your subscription.

Step 5.

Go to your inbox (this step is important, don't overlook it.) and click on the verification email.

Step 6.

Click on the email, and then click on the link (or copy and paste it into a browser) that is in the email.

Step 7.

Once the link is clicked, you will be sent back to FeedBurner. Once you are there, you are done! The message will read that you have successfully completed the subscription process, and you will receive email notifications every time a blog post is uploaded to the blog! Congrats, you did it!

NOTE- the verification email that is sent to your inbox is VERY IMPORTANT. There are a lot of people on the subscription list who haven't completed their subscription by viewing the email and clicking the link. If you don't verify your subscription, you won't receive notifications for anything.
