This week's quiz is all about…
your favorite vacationing spot (if you were allowed to go there)!!
Question 1
If you had the option to take a free vacation anywhere...where would you go?
The Bahamas.
Tokyo
A small town in Austria
Hollywood
Question 2
If you won a raffle, what kind would you want?
A week on a 5-star beach resort for two
.The chance to tour New York City for 5 days
A three week getaway to a town of 15,000 in the middle of Wyoming
The chance to tour Hollywood and meet famous people for six days
Question 3
Your plans to go skiing for a week in New Mexico were cancelled because three of your siblings came down with the flu and the family decided to stay home until they got better. How do you react?
You can make a pretend ski site out of sand at the beach (where your uncle lives) once your siblings recover
you decide that living with Wi-Fi (even if it’s inside with no snow) is still pretty legit.
You were so excited to get away from all the city noise and get to live in a cabin and ski for a week! You don’t think you’ll ever get over it.
Whatever. You probably have more of a chance of meeting movie stars in the city, anyway.
Question 4
What is your favorite travel snack?
beach type snacks (flavored chips, soda, sandwiches, and fruit)
fast food (Subway, McDonalds, Burger King, etc)
outdoor adventure snacks (trail mix, mineral water, turkey sandwiches, and apples)
sushi (or whatever the latest food trend is ;))
And now for the Results…
Mostly A’s-Beachy
When given the option between lake and beach, there is no hesitation. Sand and waves are your life, whether or not you live near them. Tanning, splashing, sculpting, you name it- that’s your dream va-kay. From seagull-safe snacks (I don’t think there is such a thing), to planning your next beach day, you do it with enthusiasm. If there ever was a world without the beach, you don’t think you would survive. And, even if you can’t live on the beach, you love it anyway.
Mostly B’s-City Kid
You like Wi-Fi, the reassurance of having other people around, and the loud but somehow calming noises. The great outdoors can sometimes be an adventure, but usually you like to stay indoors, keeping safe from hazards like breaking your phone or ruining your good shoes. You probably have tech experience, and I’m willing to bet that your parents tell you to get off the screen at least three times a day. Visiting a new big city might sometimes be overwhelming, but you like it! Definitely beats waking with the chickens out on farm life.
.
Mostly C’s-Country Kid
The country calms you, unlike the big city noises. Whether it’s enjoying a peaceful daisy field in solitude or splashing in a creek with only a couple other people, you are excited to get out into the great outdoors. You are probably mostly introvert, liking the peace and quiet of the chirping crickets and fluttering butterflies. You find the big cities too suffocating, but a quiet week on the ranch is the perfect way to spend your long summer days.
Mostly D’s-Hollywood
What I mean by Hollywood is that you like all the spotlights and fame, even if it isn’t you that has all the spotlights and fame. From the latest trendy snacks and fashions to the school play, you are involved in things that could get you famous (which is, of course, your dream). Getting autographs from famous people is a hobby, and you wish to visit all the big cities that are either famous for something interesting or have a population of celebrities. Your favorite way
to spend vacation is touring a big city like New York or Hollywood, hoping to find a few people worthy of your autograph book.
