Four fun things to do with paper

#1- paper weaving

Paper weaving is a really fun way to take up your time! All you need is some colorful paper, scissors, and a ruler! Start by measuring out your paper with a ruler. Cut into even strips and start weaving! Here are a couple of websites and videos you can look at for different patterns, styles, and tips.

#2- paper chain wall art

This one may be new for you. It certainly was for me. Behold- the paper chain wall art! This unique piece of art is perfect for a bare wall- something to bring a little color in a 3d way! Using cardstock, cut each piece into 1” by 8” strips, and staple together, slipping one through the other until you have a wall! Get creative! Send in some pics of a pretty piece of chain art you made! Here are some websites for different patterns, colors, and styles you can try! Happy crafting!

#3- DIY decorated envelopes

Since we are stuck in the house, why not write a letter to a friend? And, just to add, why not dress up the envelope for its best occasion? I’m almost very sure it wouldn’t mind at all. Get creative with this fun craft! Letter it the way you want, decorate the inside, outside, upside and backside, even match your colors with the letter itself! However you do, show the person you are writing to that you are thinking of them by spicing up the snail mail a bit!

Yes, yes, I know everyone knows about origami. Nothing new. But, there are some really fun, new things that you can do with origami that will give you a fresh view on this fun paper craft!
