5 fun things to do...
while it’s pouring outside
Rainy Days...we all have them. And if you live in a place with humid and rainy springs, they happen often. So how can we survive and thrive during the storms?
If you have siblings, this one is a fun one. Using envelopes, put clues inside and hide them around the house. Have each clue leading to the next, that one leading to the next one, and so on. Have the treasure be something fun, silly, or both! Here are a couple of links to websites where you can get some ideas for different things to do for treasure hunts. However you do it, have fun!
#2 Camp in the Great Indoors
Camping may seem like an outdoor thing, but there are plenty of ways to have a fun camping experience without leaving the house. Grab some pillows, blankets, blow-up mattresses, and anything else comfy, and set up a tent (or make one out of literally anything!).
Make sure the whole family will fit, though! Then, have some spooky story contests (winner chooses movie night!), fun snack options, and claim your bedtime spot! If you want to do some next-level camping, then stay the night in your indoor quarters! How long can you last before sleepwalking to your bed?
#3 organize your own Movie Marathon
When I think of rainy days, one of the things that first comes to mind is cuddling up with a blanket and the shades drawn, watching my favorite disney movie. If someone here doesn’t feel the same way, we need to have a talk. Just kidding ;). What better way to spend a rainy day than watching a variety of movies and tv shows? Have each person in the family choose a film (or two) and try to watch all of them in one day. Make sure to plan this ahead of time with your parents, because otherwise, they might not be so keen of spending the entire day in front of the tv.

#4 Make some slime
I remember when slime was the most popular, most trendy thing round. It’s still well-known, and a super fun way to spend your indoors. If mom doesn’t want you making it inside, make it in the garage! There are so many varieties, but however you do it, don’t forget not to add too much activator, and not to add too little!
#5 have a lego-building contest
Supplies:
Lots of legos. Siblings.
This one is easy and entertaining! all you need is a few contestants and lots of legos! Get together your inner master builder and challenge each other to make cool things like buildings, ships and houses! If you need some help with ideas, here are some websites for things you can build. Also- try saying this three times fast: Bobby Busts Boredom By Building Boredom-Busting Bricks.
